Andrew Warnecke is running for student body president because he wants to make a difference for the students at Ohio State University.  He is from the small town of Kalida in northwest Ohio.  Some of Andrew's experience in government was being one of the Putnam County delegates at Boys State.  There he and the other delegates, all from Ohio, participated in a week long mock government.  He's a third-year student majoring in political science and plans on going to law school after he earns his bachelor's degreee.  Upon finishing law school he hopes to have a career in local and state government in Ohio.  It has always been his dream to help and serve other people.  Andrew has always said that 'being involved in public service means that you are truly serving a cause that is greater than yourself'.
